Considering that 'Leak' came out all the way back in 2007, it's safe to say that Concealment were quite ahead of the curve with their down-tuned, dissonant Death Metal.

This sound only really found its way to broader popularity when Gorguts returned with the critically acclaimed 'Colored Sands' in 2013, but at that point, Concealment had already released several albums and EPs.

Records like 'Obscura' or 'From Wisdom to Hate' may have influenced the Portuguese band early on, but 'Leak' has a clearly identifiable voice and groove of its own.

The chunky guitars and eclectic bass playing are skillfully interwoven into hypnotic, dark and absolutely massive soundscapes, all backed by a truly dynamic drum performance.

The occasional and surprisingly catchy clean vocals may throw some people for a loop, but they certainly serve as a unique contrast to the extreme nature of Concealment's music.

One can't deny the talent and forward-thinking approach on display here and Total Dissonance Worship is proud to bring this era of the band into the digital realm with more releases to come!
