Darknight I really like how this shifts into different places via the riffage that just moves all over the damn place, The Living
has death metal stamped but then verves in and out of grind. Very good indeed. Favorite track: Inside.

bcb723 Ok... this starts as one thing then shortly after begins shifting here there everywhere. Releases like this are why I probably don't sleep much in that I just like to use the time I should be sleeping to find killer shit like this. I mean... that psychedelic horrorshow background spoken word about a minute or so into "Death's"? It's a perfect example of how this is an album of many different jaw-drop moments that will stay in your mind long after listening. Color me very impressed. Favorite track: Death's.

Can't resist: reminds me of Gateway except that Gateway plays straight up doom death so this is not like Gateway.

'The Living' is a concept EP that beckons the listener to inspect life as an artifact of death and its infinity. The song titles create the sentence "Inside Death's Womb Purge the Living."

A statement reflecting our observations of conscious existence. Though the subject matter is grim, the music implores the listener to seek beauty in the vast emptiness of mortality.

Mors Verum heavily lean into that ambivalence sonically. The immediate and hard-hitting discordance of the opening 'Inside' seems unforgiving, but as the EP progresses, more and more layers of intricate melodies are interwoven with the band's unorthodox brand of Death Metal.
